CGS Indústria e Comércio de Móveis Ltda, started its activities on February 15th, 1990, with the partners José Anísio Grassi ( in memoriun ), José Vani Grassi, Natalino dos Santos, Edson dos Santos e Valdir José Civiero.
During two years, the company produced made-to-measure furniture, with 8 employees, in a 700-m2 built area.
The mass production of coffee tables and decorative chairs started in 1992.
These products were sold in the state of Bahia, Brazil, and later, all around the country.
In 1999, CGS Móveis exported for the first time.
Nowadays, CGS Móvies employs one hundred and ten people, has a built area of 7,000 m2 and it also has a wider production, including chairs, tables and sideboards for dining rooms. The products are sold not only in Brazil but also in Israel, The United States, Chile, Ecuador, Argentina and Paraguay.
Currently the company is managed by the partners José Vani Grassi and Roseli S. B. Grassi.
